Maybe you'd like your family and friends involved in a gorgeous ritual or maybe you want an intimate elopement on a beach. About me

I come to you with so much experience and a tool bag packed with creative ideas. I am a theatre director and producer, a teacher, a storyteller and playwright. There is nothing we can’t make happen. I love working with inspiring, creative, kind, inclusive, community minded people who love to laugh and want to make their day one for everyone to share in. I can help you write your vows, help you get over the nerves to deliver them with panache and will lead rehearsals if you want them. I'll always be available for questions and together we will be building your script and your day with passion, humour and love.

How does it work?

    OUR FIRST HELLO

    Once you've contacted me we will have a good old chat, either online or even better face to face where I will listen and listen some more. We can talk about all the ideas that have been buzzing around your head about how you want to feel on your day and everything that matters to you. This is a great way to see if we click and whether you'd like to go ahead and book me for your celebrant.

    WE CLICKED!

    You've decided to book me! Lovely! You can then secure your day and your booking with a deposit and your name on the contract and then that day is yours.

    NOW WE GET CREATIVE

    Now is when we get busy. We will meet again and throw ideas around. I send you ideas, mood boards, poems, readings and links to anything you want to know more about. We will get a WhatsApp group going so we can contact each other really easily. I will also contact the suppliers you are using to make sure that we are all on the same page.

    YOUR TURN

    About 6 months before your day I will then send you a questionnaire to fill in. You may want to have a date night where you fill this in or give each other a surprise and do it separately. I will use all of this information and everything that we have discussed to start shaping and writing your ceremony. We can talk about what you need at this point too - rehearsals? Coaching through the vows? Advice about suppliers? You may have chosen a few lovely symbolic rituals and we can talk about what you will need to be comfortable with how they work.

    GETTING CLOSER!

    3 months before your wedding we will meet again to go through everything in detail and add anything you want to. We will check that everything we need we have got. We will then agree on the date for that very exciting first draft. We can then organise any other help you may like. Don't worry about delivering those vows. I've been training actors for years.

    WHAT DO YOU THINK?

    On the day we've agreed, you will get the first draft of the script and the flow of the day. You are of course free to make any cheeky tweaks and changes and that can happen until everything is exactly the way you want it. We can also organise a rehearsal should you want it.

    BELTING AND BRACING

    One week to go! We will go through the day again and settle any nerves and make doubly triply absolutely sure of the details of the day.

    THE BIG DAY ARRIVES!

    I'll be at the venue sorting things out and making sure everything is tip top at least an hour before it all starts, greeting your family and friends and loving the atmosphere of what is going to be a cracking day. You now just need to enjoy it, click your mind cameras and make sure you pause and take it all in.

    While you are still all aglow from your day I'll gift you a PDF copy of your script as a memento of an incredible start to your new lives together.
